Storyline

While it already is an important and moving story of a war hero, what sets this one apart from films of a similar nature is its intent to use this true story to deliver some strong commentary on duty, the aftermath of war and, above all, humanity. It has a kind of sensitivity amidst all the bloody ugliness of war that’s rare to find in a film like this. You’d expect the film to break your heart, and it does get very emotional by the end, but it’s also surprising how tender and warm it actually is. Liked it.
