Storyline

When did the Englishs stop making good movies and English actors get so bad? This series (which is a remake of the much better Gold Digger, a British mini-series Julia Ormond) is only worthwhile for the gorgeous scenery of the Amalfi coast. While the actors both have the right look for their parts, not even the charms of Gray’s Anatomy hottie Giacomo Gianniotti help it. As usual, the actors recite their lines as if they are at a table read, with no emotion or facial expressions. I’m watching it in English…maybe the actors dubbing it are more talented. Netflix really needs to be more discerning in what it offers!Free
